I would recommend against using the tea on your cat. Chamomile is not toxic to cats, but it may cause stomach upset or other issues. Cats don’t respond to many substances in the same way that people do. If your cat is being over energetic or is playing when you don’t want to, the best thing to do is to try and channel that behavior into something else. Having toys that your cat can play with by himself can help. Also playing with him at times that are appropriate can help to train him on when it is appropriate to play.
