• I was wondering how early I can get my cat's vaccines for this year - his FVRCP is due on 8/18 and rabies is due on 9/1. I have a coupon for a free office visit that expires on 7/31, so I'm wondering if I bring him in by 7/31 if that's too early to get those shots? Thanks.

    Hi Rachel,
I recommend that you call and talk to your local veterinarian about this question. The timing for vaccines and if they can be given early will depend on your individual cat’s health, overall vaccine status, and with the rabies vaccine it can depend on your local regulations. Your vet knows your pet and that local laws and will be able to let you know if it is okay to give them that early or if it is better to wait.
