Hi Jude, I recommend that you call and talk to your local veterinarian about this issue. While Rimadyl is safe in most dogs there can potentially be issues if the pet has any underlying medical issues. Your vet knows your pet and her medical history and they will be able to give you the best advice on this. If the limping worsens or does not improve I recommend that you take her into be examined by a vet. There are other diseases and injuries that look similar to a sprain that may need other treatment.
