• Hello; yesterday I adopted a fixed four year old Male. He is very sweet. I have noticed he has a dry nose and his eyes are droopy, the eyelid liners are pink. I haven't noticed him scratching them or any discharge coming from them. I wasn't given a large vaccine history and I'm worried he will give something to my vaccinated 9 month old cat

    Hi Trina,
I recommend that you take your new cat into see a veterinarian. The symptoms that you are describing can be caused by a few different things including an upper respiratory infection. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of her symptoms and the treatment that he needs after they have examined him. If this is an upper respiratory infection it can potentially be passed to your other cat. Your vet can advise you of the risk to your other cat after diagnosing the cause in your male cat.
