Hi Alison, I recommend that you call and talk to your local Banfield Hospital about this question. If you are concerned that your pet is not doing well on her food they may recommend that you bring her into be examined. This will depend on the problems that she is having as well and her overall medical history. If this just needs a food change they can recommend the diet that will be best for her. As far as the heartworm and flea/tick preventives, they may be able to refill those medications without an exam but that also will depend on her medical history.
