Hi Rhonda, if these symptoms have continued I recommend that you take him into see a veterinarian. Scooting across the floor can be signs of a couple of different things including anal sac impaction, intestinal parasites, an issue with his rectum, or infection in the rectal area. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of his symptoms and the treatment he needs after they have examined him.
