Bunnies can get hiccups like people. Hiccups are a spasm of the diaphragm muscle. They usually go away on their own in a few minutes. If you notice that your bunny has recurrent hiccups or if they don’t go away within a few minutes I recommend that you take him into see a veterinarian. This can be a sign of an underlying respiratory issue. Your veterinarians can examined him for any abnormalities with his heart and lungs and make sure that he is healthy.
