• Daisy was recently boarded while we were in vacation. She currently has a nasty cough and sounds like she is choking. She seems normal and lovable but maybe a little less energetic than what we are used too. We are worried is it something serious?

Hi Christina, if Daisy is still showing these symptoms, I recommend that you take her into see a veterinarian as soon as possible if you have not already done so. With her history of boarding the coughing may be a sign of an upper respiratory infection. However, it could also be caused by something worse like pneumonia or heart disease. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of her symptoms and the treatment she needs after they have examined her.
