• Charlie has what looks like a pimple or cyst between her toes, and the foot has swollen since this afternoon. she can't sleep and won't stop trying to bite it (despite a bootie and a cone, unfortunately she's grown out of the cone I have). should I be worried? I know biting it makes it worse, but outside of keeping her from getting to it is there anything I can do? Should I just clean it, or bring her in to see a vet?

    I recommend that you take her into see a veterinarian. The cyst like structure, the foot swelling, and her discomfort taken together are concerning. These signs can be caused by an infection, an injury to the foot, a foreign body like a grass awn, or even some underlying medical issues. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of her symptoms and the treatment that she needs after they have examined her.
