Dr. Seawright was raised in Wisconsin and received her bachelor's degree in medical microbiology and immunology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After a few years doing research at Northwestern University at Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Seawright decided to go back to the University of Wisconsin for veterinary school. After graduating with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013, Dr. Seawright was accepted to a small animal rotating internship at Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Seawright met her husband while there, and elected to stay in Texas after completing her internship. She has been with Banfield since August of 2014 and is currently living with her husband, 2 cats, and a dog on his family's farm in Valley Mills.
