Dr. Ischinger was born in Ewing, New Jersey but came to Virginia to attend James Madison University for undergraduate school. She wanted to become a veterinarian because she loves being around animals and is a fan of the bulldog breed. She attended Ross University where she received her veterinary degree and then joined Banfield in 2017. Her medical interests include internal medicine and bulldogs. She lives in Manassas, VA sharing her home with her Rottweiler, Willie, her tuxedo cat, Charlie, and her black cat, Eileen. Her hobbies include reading, hiking with her dog, and teaching swim lessons to children.
