Dr. Ossi earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Textile Chemistry followed by her Veterinary degree, both from North Carolina State University. She began her veterinary career on Thoroughbred racetracks, working at Delaware Park then Churchill Downs, for over 7 years. She then transitioned into small animal integrative medicine earning her Acupuncture and Hyperbaric Oxygen certification while working on her certification in Canine Rehabilitation. Her clinical interests lay in small animal medicine, acupuncture, rehab and pain management.
In her free time, Dr. Ossi enjoys spending time with her animals, completing home improvement projects, and listening to live music. She is a mother to 3 off-track Thoroughbreds, 4 Kunekune pigs, 5 mixed breed dogs, 3 cats, 19 chickens and 2 peafowl.
