Dr. Linger was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and has worked in the veterinary field since she was 18 years old. She started as a receptionist and worked her way up to technician before receiving her doctorate in veterinary medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2013. Dr. Linger spends her free time volunteering for Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) programs and for the HOPE clinic which gives free veterinary services to the homeless. She is married with a baby girl, and has 3 cats, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Jackie Lee Kennedy, and a dog named Eleanor Roosevelt.
