Dr. Galliers was born in the Chicago suburbs and moved with her family several times before settling in Richmond, KY. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a B.S. degree in biology and minors in chemistry and agriculture in 2007 and from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. After graduation, she practiced for 5 years in Richmond before joining Banfield in April 2016. She believes in proactive preventive care and has a passion for soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. She also enjoys treating and performing surgery on small mammal exotic pets (rats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc). Dr. Galliers lives in Richmond, with her husband, Jason, their 4 dogs, 5 cats, 8 Dumbo rats and a fish. She spends her free time hiking and back country camping with her husband and dogs, and enjoys fostering and working with rescue dogs, cats and the occasional ferret.
