Dr. Carr has recently planted roots in Colorado Springs after graduating from the University of Tennessee and working in Nashville for several years. Dr. Carr's background in mechanical engineering has translated into a special interest in complex orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures. Throughout his time in veterinary school, Dr. Carr was the recipient of numerous academic and leadership awards, including the "Clinical Student of the Year Award" during his senior year. He and his brother, also a veterinarian, comprise a duo which pairs their orthopedic procedures with advanced physical rehabilitation protocols. Dr. Carr, his wife, their 2 daughters, and 4 dogs spend their free time exploring the mountains and competing in obstacle course races across the country. They have recently acquired a farm in Black Forest where they plan to someday start a human-animal bond rehabilitation center.
