Dr. Clark was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from Vassar College in 1990 with a B.A. in biology and later went on to graduate from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. After graduation, she worked in Corpus Christi and later moved to Houston in March of 1997, marking the start of her career with Banfield. In September of 1999, Dr. Clark moved to Austin and has called it home ever since. Her hobbies outside of work include cooking, gardening, reading, yoga and horseback riding. For over 10 years, she has volunteered with ROCK (Ride on Center for Kids), a therapeutic riding and hippotherapy program. She is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of Austin. She lives with her 2 cats, Audrey, a 9-year-old grey domestic short hair, and Seeley, a 6-year-old tortoiseshell calico.
