Dr. Mary Carson


Dr. Carson earned a bachelor’s in biology and environmental science from Georgetown College and a master’s in Wildlife from Purdue University. Dr. Carson started her career working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Personal circumstances with her cat, Chelsea, lead to an interest in veterinary medicine. In 2004, she received her veterinary degree from Colorado State University. Dr. Carson has worked in Oregon and Colorado as a veterinarian, and her professional interests include preventive care, soft tissue surgery and client education. In her personal time, Dr. Carson spends quality time with her husband, Brad, and two children by taking as many camping trips and enjoying as many National Parks as possible. She loves to go hiking, camping, backpacking, practicing yoga, and reading science and historical fiction.
