Dr. Studnicka has a degree in biology and chemistry from Cal State University, San Bernardino. After graduating, she worked as a molecular biologist and an organic chemist in Carpinteria, CA for 3 years. Dr. Studnicka graduated with a DVM from Ross Veterinary University in 2007 and practice has been devoted to small animals. Dr. Studnicka’s interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and ultrasonography, and is well known for handling cats. She has several cats: Jeremy, Hope, Nellie, Marv, and Dennis; and a rat terrier, Mimi. Dr. Studnicka is an avid writer and a reader of scary stories but her number one passion is salsa dancing. She has even spent time in Cuba perfecting her craft. She has also volunteered with Channel Islands National Park providing educational awareness to children about our depleting resources.
