Microchipping provides permanent identification and increase the chances of being reunited with your pet if they are lost. A tiny microchip is safely inserted under the skin and contains a unique ID number that veterinarians and animal shelters can scan to identify lost pets and contact their owners.

Dr. Catherine Hercula is the Chief of Staff/ Area Chief of Staff at the Stonybrook location and has been with Banfield for 10 years. She graduated undergraduate school from the University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She then went on to pursue a veterinary degree from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. She is Fear Free Certified and enjoys dermatology and internal medicine. About Dr. Catherine Hercula-Soignier

Destinee has been a licensed veterinary technician with Banfield since 2021. Her passion is pet dentistry and her goal is to one day pursue a specialty in it. She spends most of her free time cuddling her pets, but she also enjoys video games and hiking through the Red River Gorge.

Misty was born in Richmond, KY and has lived in Brodhead, Ky for about 30 years. She started volunteering at Rockcastle Veterinary Clinic at 16 and has been in the field since 1999. She and her daughter enjoy a simple life in the country surrounded by many creatures. They spend a lot of our spare time going to different nature reserves. Misty enjoys working with the animals and trying to ease their fear and anxiety as best she can.

Heather was born and raised in eastern Kentucky, where she was exposed to many types of animal growing up. She knew from a very early age that she wanted to be in the veterinary field, which lead to her pursuit of my veterinary technician degree at Morehead State University. When not at work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, reading, or finding hidden gems at antique stores.
