Vijay Kalaskar, DVM

Dr. Kalaskar completed his veterinary medicine from India in 2002 and worked for few years as a veterinarian before coming to the United States in 2008. He received his doctoral degree in neuroscience from University of Georgia and moved to National Institutes of Health for postdoctoral research focused on eye development and congenital eye diseases. As a veterinarian, Dr. Kalaskar is interested in pregnancy diagnosis in dairy cattle, soft tissue surgeries and dentistry in small animals. Other interests include listening to flute, music and spending time with family and friends
