Dr. Shawn Daniels and his veterinary team opened Banfield Pet Hospital of Westbank on Saturday, January 28, 2006. Dr. Daniels received his DVM degree from the Louisiana State University in 1994. Born in Bogalusa and raised in Mt. Herman, Louisiana, he spent time practicing in Kansas City and Lafayette before settling down in the Westbank area in 2000. Dr. Daniels and his wife have two children, and a German Shepherd named Roux.
