Originally from Lindenhurst, New York, Dr. Blaustein’s family moved to Lake County, Florida where they started a hobby beef cattle ranch. Life on the farm fostered his love of animals and led to his desire to become a veterinarian. Dr. Blaustein has been part of Banfield since 2005. He is comfortable seeing most small mammal species in addition to the traditional dog and cat. In his spare time, he is often found hiking in mountain destinations with his family.
