Mikella

Hi everyone! My name is Mikella and I've been with Banfield for almost a year now. I've been practicing in vet medicine for about three years now, mostly working in general practices with cats and dogs. My favorite animals are ring-tailed lemurs and actually are the reason I got into this field. In the future I hope to become a licensed RVT and eventually get some experience with wildlife so I can go after my dream job of being a zookeeper for primates at the San Diego Zoo or any zoo really. I have two dogs 10 years apart from each other whom I love dearly. I live in a beach town and enjoy skating, hiking generally being out in nature in my spare time. My favorite thing to do in the vet med field is dental prophy's, learning more about anesthesia and blood draws!
