Marilyn Velasquez, DVM

Dr. Marilyn Velasquez has worked for Banfield for almost four years. She started immediately after graduating from Kansas State University CVM in 2018. While in school, she would work summers as a veterinary assistant for seven years in a row! She loves coming to work and having dance parties while listening to Disney songs with her coworkers. She also loves to watch movies, play board games, and go to the park with her husband and 2 kids when she isn’t saving lives! She has 2 cats named Rosie and Nellie at home, one of which is a tripod! Her favorite aspect of is dermatology cases and her favorite part of the day is when cute new kittens come in for their first visits! She roots for the Royals on the weekends with her family and prides herself on the fact that she has watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy well over 100 times!
