Lindsey Smith, DVM

Dr. Lindsey Smith grew up in Mechanicsville, Virginia, just out side of Richmond. After graduating from Hanover High School, she went on to earn her bachelor of science from Wingate University just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. After graduating from college, she went straight to Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine located in Alabama where she obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She then moved back to Virginia to be closer to family, where she worked at a private small-animal general practice for seven years before joining Banfield. Her areas of interest include internal medicine, preventive care, and wildlife. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, Kevin, and two daughters, Kirstie and Kinsey. They also gladly share their home with three dogs (Stella, Lexie, and Rosie Bell) and four cats (Goliath, Isabella, Cupcake, and Cookie).
