Kate Hilsenteger, DVM

Dr. Kate Hilsenteger moved to the Portland area after graduating from Texas A&M University in 2007. Since joining Banfield in 2008 as an Associate Veterinarian, she worked at multiple hospitals in the Portland/Vancouver area as a Chief of Staff, Director of Veterinary Quality, and now Area Chief of Staff. Dr. Hilsenteger is passionate about delivering high quality care to all her patients, mentoring fellow veterinarians, and building communication skills within the veterinary team. As a transplant to the beautiful Pacific Northwest she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family: hiking, biking, running, and traveling (COVID permitting).
