John Weale, DVM

John Weale, D.V.M, M.S., is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has over 30 years of experience as a veterinarian in clinical practice and veterinary education. He previously owned and operated his own practice on the west side of Columbus. He is past president of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association. He has been on faculty of The Ohio State University, Ross University and Lincoln Memorial University. He is currently a part-time faculty member at Lincoln Memorial University. He also is executive director of COWBEL (Consortium on Workplace-Based Education and Learning). This is an international group that looks to provide leadership and share best practices of veterinary distributed education. Dr. Weale is married and has three children, and five grandchildren. He has two dogs at home that keep him busy.
