Joseph Shoemake, DVM
Chief of Staff
Dr. Shoemake graduated from University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and has been with Banfield since 2001. His current role is Area Chief of Staff, supporting the doctors at four of our Banfield Pet Hospitals. He is passionate about making life better for pets through proactive and comprehensive preventative care, as well as, internal medicine and surgery. In his current position, Dr. Shoemake primarily sees patients at the Brentwood location. Dr. Shoemake is married with three adult children, one dog and one cat. Personal interests include gardening, personal fitness, spending time with family, and playing violin and guitar.
