Janéa Jenkins, DVM

Dr. Janéa Jenkins has been a part of the Banfield family since 2009 and a member of our hospital team since 2010. Growing up, her father was in the Air Force so her family moved around a bit, but she considers Greenville, South Carolina, her original home. Dr. Jenkins attended Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she temporarily settled in Lexington, South Carolina, before her transfer to Charleston. Her pet family consists of her three sibling cats, Jasmine, Mister, and Gizmo, and her Pomeranian named Joy Ariel. Dr. Jenkins is passionate about dental disease prevention and senior pet care. She loves being a witness to our patients' life stages. When not at work, she enjoys traveling, attending concerts and Clemson football games, and creating arts and crafts projects.
