Ever since I was a little girl, I have had a passion for helping all animals and have always wanted to have a career that is focused on them. I have worked with small animals (dogs and cats), large animals (horses and cows), and even all sorts of exotic species of birds. Animals don't have voices, yet they have so much to teach us if we are willing to listen and learn. This is why I love being a veterinary assistant and why I'm continuing my education to become a veterinary technician, so that I may learn more and become a better advocate for them.
