Christina Mattson, DVM

Dr. Christina Mattson, DVM, is a dedicated veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University in 2014, following a Bachelor of Arts from Claremont McKenna College. Dr. Mattson has a passion for tackling complex cases and is committed to working collaboratively with clients to create treatment plans that are both effective and practical. Her primary focus is on protecting and strengthening the human-animal bond for her patients and their owners. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Mattson enjoys gardening and running a beef cattle farm in Central Minnesota. She shares her home with two dogs and many cats. Dr. Mattson joined the Banfield team in 2025.
