Bethany is a Licensed Veterinary Technician who has been working in the Birmingham area for over a decade in various settings, now as a Practice Manager/Licensed Veterinary Technician. She has been in small animal medicine for the majority of her career, adding large animal medicine, and emergency critical care to her skill set along the way. She is Fear Free Certified Level-3, Recover Advanced Life Support Certified, and is a Purina and Royal Canine Certified Nutrition Specialist. Bethany is active at local and state levels and serves as the immediate past president of the Alabama Veterinary Technician Association, and currently as their Treasurer. She has received her Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology Cum Laude and is a member of the Delta Epsilon Tau Honor Society. Advocating for Licensed Veterinary Technicians is her passion. Bethany has been nominated for Veterinary Technician of the Year three times in her career.

Twice through Alabama Veterinary Technician Association in 2020 and 2023, and once through Banfield Pet Hospital were she was awarded Veterinary Technician of the Year in 2021. She has also been able to attend conferences within the company at a national level. After becoming licensed in 2015, Bethany welcomed the first of two boys into the world (Logan and Parker). Along with her children, she enjoys fun filled days with four fantastic felines (Church, Persephone, Skully, and Maahes), two talkative Siberian Huskies (Iris and Korra), and a wild child doodle (Lenore). When Bethany is not working and spending time with family, she enjoys drawing, photography, and painting.
