Banfield welcomes Tony Ueber as executive vice president/chief operating officer

Portland, Ore.— Dec. 29, 2008—Banfield, The Pet Hospital® announces that Tony Ueber has been appointed to lead - operations for its more than 730 veterinary hospitals.

Tony, who will begin his new role in January, comes to Banfield having served in various global sales, marketing and consulting roles for marquee companies including Procter & Gamble and Office Depot.

In this critical role, Tony will be responsible for ensuring that Banfield clients have a positive experience both in the care their Pets receive as well as through exceptional client service. Tony will be instrumental in assisting Banfield’s Operations, Medical, Marketing and Education teams in driving this initiative.

Tony earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and his MBA in marketing from The Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. Tony is moving from Florida to Banfield’s main campus in Portland with his wife, Ronna, two children, and their two cats.
