With the start of the 2014 hurricane season in the Northeast, Banfield Pet Hospital and American Humane Association mobilized its new, 50-foot Red Star® emergency rescue vehicle to ensure pet owners and their pets are prepared to weather the storms ahead. Dr. George Melillo, Banfield’s Northeast regional medical director, was interviewed on FOX News Channel’s “The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson” and provided tips for pet owners to safeguard their pets in the event of a large scale disaster.
