Banfield Pet Hospital appoints Jeff Ellison as President

VANCOUVER, Wash., Sept. 22, 2025 – Banfield Pet Hospital, the nation’s leading provider of preventive veterinary care and part of the Mars Veterinary Health family of practices, has appointed Jeff Ellison as President.

Jeff brings more than 30 years of operational leadership experience, including being an integral part of Banfield for over 15 years and holding pivotal roles at brands including Starbucks Coffee Company and Rite Aid. Prior to being appointed as President of Banfield, Jeff was Vice President of Field Operations and most recently Chief Operating Officer. His deep knowledge of the practice and experience working with veterinary teams has helped drive innovative solutions to deliver high quality care to pets.

Under Jeff’s leadership, Banfield recently launched the Senior Care Optimum Wellness Plan and the Banfield Access Plan, expanding high-quality, affordable care to millions of pet owners.
