Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan and Banfield Access Plan customizations  

The wellness plan customizations we currently offer include:  

• Parasite control to help protect your pet from harmful fleas, ticks, heartworms, and more
• Canine influenza vaccine to help prevent canine flu for dogs at high risk or who live where it’s more common
• Wisdom Panel™ DNA test to screen for over 150 genetic disease mutations and detect more than 350 canine breeds, types, and varieties

• Additional dental cleaning to help support oral health  
• Chronic care: otitis to provide additional testing and cleaning that supports ear health (includes a mild or severe option depending on the pet’s needs)
• Chronic care: diabetes to aid in the management of diabetes through additional blood work and testing to assess insulin dosage, as well as monitor for any secondary effects of diabetes in the body
• Chronic care: renal to assess and monitor kidney function in dogs with long-standing kidney malfunction
• Chronic medication monitoring to test and monitor safety of long-term medications (such as anti-inflammatory or pain meds)
• Anti-nausea injection to help dogs and cats feel better by reducing nausea and vomiting (this is especially helpful for pets undergoing anesthesia)
