Dr. Leah Tippin
Veterinarian
Dr. Tippin is originally from the Texas Panhandle and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M in 2004. She has been with Banfield Pet Hospital for 10 years in various locations including College Station and Fort Worth, and her veterinary interests include internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry and general soft tissue surgery. Dr. Tippin values the human-animal bond and the importance of preventive medicine, and her motto is to make a difference in pet’s lives for the betterment of not only their life, but that of their owner. She and her husband, Larry, have been married 25 years and they have 3 girls, Lauren, Lindsey and Lilly; 2 miniature pinschers, Tinkerbell and Pixie Dust; and 8 fish. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, outdoor activities and traveling.

Dr. Sydney Rainey Biler
Veterinarian
Dr. Sydney Rainey Biler joined Banfield in February 2018 after completing her veterinary degree at Iowa State University. She grew up in Nebraska and completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Cornell University. Dr. Sydney has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery as well as behavior. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cross stitching, and training with her dogs, Zaius and Trout. Dr. Sydney also has four cats as well as two Sulcata tortoises named Pineapple and Mango.

Kristan De Hoyos
Practice Manager
Kristan joined Banfield in 2008 and has since furthered her passion in development through focusing on providing quality care. She completed her associate's degree in liberal arts from Northwest Vista College in 2014. Kristan enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and she has a very friendly and loving pit bull named Aubrey. Kristan loves being hands on with the pets in the hospital and wants to continue getting to know all of the special pets at Bandera Pointe.
