    Dr. Susan Duran

Dr. Susan Duran has been a part of our Music City team since January 2012. She was raised in Knoxville with her two older brothers and a plethora of pets including cats, dogs, fish, birds, guinea pigs, hamsters, and ferrets, which led her to pursue her dreams of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in biology and then from the University of Tennessee's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. After spending time volunteering in her hometown's local animal shelter to help displaced pets find forever homes, she moved out to Nashville to establish her own career focusing on the things she likes to do most including internal medicine, surgery, preventive care and client education. Dr. Duran currently resides with 2 rambunctious, patience-testing, yet lovable and irreplaceable young felines, Bella and Mayne. When she's not at work, Dr. Duran loves to spend time at many of Nashville's parks or fantastic eateries all around the city. More Details >>
