Dr. Bennett was born in North Carolina, but grew up in Charleston, SC. She has wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as she can remember, and went to the University of Georgia for both undergraduate and veterinary school. She moved to the Pickens/Easley area with her husband, who was in her vet school class. Dr. Bennett helped fill in at a large animal practice when she first graduated, but then transitioned to small animal medicine with an interest in preventive medicine and dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking, watching movies, and riding her horse, Bailey, that she has had since high school. She has an English setter mix named Renly, a cocker spaniel mix named Badger, and a tuxedo cat named Merlin, along with two guinea pigs.
