    Dr. Meaghan Gilhooly

I am the lead doctor at Irvington and absolutely love this hospital, our clients and their pets. I have been with Banfield for almost 3 years and graduated from LSU in 2005. I am originally from Oregon but spent quite a few years in Louisiana where I was an equine practitioner. I recently moved back to the PNW after having my twins, Audrey and Jackson. I have three dogs, Delilah (Lhasa Apso), Priscilla (LA mutt), and Sage (bulldog mix), a Sphynx cat named Agnes, 7 chickens, and 3 horses. Needless to say, life is pretty busy around my house. Dr. Lilian Wong

    Associate Veterinarian

I have been with Banfield since July 2014 after graduating from UC Davis and have enjoyed every minute! I am currently working part-time as I just had a beautiful baby boy named Jonah in May of this year. I also have 2 dogs named Macey and Hops, an angry street cat named Max, a calico named MJ, and a ball python named Ball-E. I am very comfortable with exotic pets and do enjoy seeing birds when given the opportunity. More Details >>

    Dr. Wesley Seipel

    Associate Veterinarian

I recently graduated from Washington State University in 2016 and moved to Portland to begin my career as a veterinarian. What I am most passionate about is creating great client relationships and being able to build trusting relationships with all my clients and their pets. I have a lovable, goofy Dutch Shepard named Z who I adopted while working with the Washington humane society. I am a lover of food, cooking, and fitness. More Details >>

    Janys Lunstrum

    Practice Manager

I have been with Banfield for over 6 years and what I love most is our dedication to keeping pets happy and healthy and getting to make a difference for the pets that we see. I also have opportunities to help in the community whether it be through volunteering at the stand down clinic for veterans or raising funds to help a pet with an emergency and that makes me very proud to work here. I have 3 dogs, a sensitive viszla named Cash, a high strung German shorthaired pointer named Cocoa and a little terrier mix named Emmie. More Details >>

    Nicole Potter

    Veterinary Assistant

I have been a veterinary assistant for over 3 years and am currently enrolled in the Certified Veterinary Technician program through Penn Foster University. I absolutely love taking care of the pets that we see and my special role in the hospital is to assist with many of our surgical procedures. Often I am the one kissing the pets after their spay or neuter and letting them know it will be ok. I have a sweet 1-year-old baby at home named Riley and another sweet fur baby named Lola, both make my life complete. More Details >>

    Zachary Dietrich

    Veterinary Assistant

After I graduated from Utah State University in 2013, I moved to Oregon and started by career as a veterinary assistant. I have learned so much in the past two years and what I love most is being able to take care of the pets and provide quality care. I have one well-behaved German Shepard at home named Athena who does everything with me. I am looking into going to vet school in the near future but in the meantime, am studying to become a certified veterinary technician. More Details >>

    Ahmed Menikar

    Veterinary Assistant

I moved here from Egypt two years ago and have been working at this hospital a month after moving here. Having been a practicing veterinarian in Egypt, I came fully versed in terminology and diagnoses - it was the translation between cultures and language that I have had to overcome. I am currently working on taking the NAVLE test to become a certified veterinarian here in the United States. I love all the animals that we see and look forward to someday owning an Abyssinian cat. Rachel Cook

    Veterinary Assistant

I started my career with Banfield in January of 2015 after graduating from Iowa State University and moving to Oregon to try something new. I have loved learning new things and what is most rewarding, is seeing our patients so happy when they get to go home to their families. I also really love puppy kisses! In my spare time, you will find me outside hiking, going to the coast or appreciating all of the cool bridges we have in this state. More Details >>

    James Dunlap

    Veterinary Assistant

I've been with Banfield as a VA for over 1 year. I grew up in Portland and Spokane, and lived in Munich from 2013 - 2014. I am almost done with my undergraduate degree at Lewis & Clark College, where I will be graduating with my bachelor's degree in foreign languages, German primary/Japanese secondary. I grew up with cats, dogs, hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, and fish. I'm interested in both the medical and administrative aspects of veterinary medicine and haven't ruled out going to veterinary school. I'm confident in my handling skills and I'm the resident fractious cat handler. My own cat, Cupcake (or C.C. for short), is an absolute angel though. Once I move someplace with a yard, I'm planning to get dogs to keep her company. More Details >>

    Brooke Jackson

    Veterinary Assistant

I started working at Banfield in June of 2014 and so far, I can say this is by far the best job that I have had. I was previously working in Wisconsin as a dog groomer, seeing cute little furry's all day made me realize that I wanted to work in the animal field doing more than just bathing animals. I have a love for helping sick kiddo's when they aren't well and also helping keep them healthy. I have a cat at home named Ellie who is very sweet and outgoing and will someday have a dog friend to keep her company. More Details >>

I love any and all animals and no matter what age, they will always be puppies and kittens to me that need love and attention. I have been at this hospital for over 3 years and have found my niche in the world. I am currently enrolled in the Certified Veterinary Technician program through Penn Foster. My focus is great client experiences and generating trust with our clients and pets. I have a 10-year-old dog named Millie who is a 70 lb Victorian bulldog and is the comedic relief in my life. I love her to pieces! More Details >>

I was in the hospitality industry for 16 years including being a general manager of hotels and resorts for five years with my degree in hospitality management. After a successful and rewarding career, I decided to move across the country and pursue a dream in the veterinary field. I am a proud mother of three wonderful, yet silly cats, Aria, Zoo and Fig, and grew up with three amazing dogs, Maxx, Jake and Bebe. I absolutely love to read, roller skate, swim and do puzzle books.
