Dr. Elizabeth Molleson pursued her undergraduate courses at the University of Dayton, then moving on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University. She has been working at Banfield since graduation. She loves spending quality time with her greyhound, Willow, and her dachshund, Paul.

Dr. Kelly DeCourcy
Veterinarian
Dr. Kelly DeCourcy has been with Banfield since 2016 when she graduated from The Ohio State University. She loves Banfield's focus on preventive care, especially oral health, and enjoys surgery. During vet school, Dr. DeCourcy had an interest in exotic medicine and has done research which she has presented at the American Association of Zoo Vets national conference. Her research on leopard geckos was published in The Journal of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine. She has a German shorthaired pointer, a cat, and a leopard gecko. Dr. DeCourcy and her husband are foodies and can always make a good recommendation for a local restaurant. In her free time, she can be found renovating her home, spinning, and playing Pokémon Go.

Veterinarian
Dr. Erika Ames received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2017 and joined Banfield in November of 2017. Dr. Ames values Banfield’s emphasis on preventive medicine through routine comprehensive exams and yearly bloodwork to help our pets’ health needs are met in a timely manner.

Dr. Steffen received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 2016. She moved to Cincinnati in 2019 and began her Banfield career at that time. She previously worked in Emergency Medicine and is interested in Geriatric Medicine as well as soft tissue surgery. She loves to spend weekends hiking with her husband and three rescue dogs as well as playing soccer in local adult leagues.

Cassandra started in veterinary medicine as a pet nurse assistant in 2015. She worked her way up as a veterinary assistant and is currently studying to become a registered vet tech. Her favorite part about working at Banfield is having access to the latest information in the veterinary community, having scientific studies to help guide associates is a big part in great medicinal practice. Some fun facts about Cassandra are that she is a circus performer, has a big interest in exotic vet medicine, and is colorblind.

Rachel has been working in veterinary care for almost 5 years. She started her career as a receptionist at a local animal hospital until graduating from the University of Cincinnati for veterinary technology in 2015. She joined Banfield in December of 2017 and her favorite thing is working alongside people who care about animals as much as she does. Everyone here treats each pet like they were their own.

Erika has a Bachelor of Science degree in veterinary technology from Morehead State University and joined Banfield in January 2016. She has been with Banfield through three states and four hospitals. Erika shares two dogs and a cat with her husband and high school sweetheart. Duke is an Australian cattle dog, Buddy is a chanoodle (Chihuahua/miniature schnauzer/miniature poodle mix), and Blu is a Siamese mix. She welcomed her first son in October 2017.

Kennetha (Neak) has been working at Banfield for about a year and a half. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster online college course to obtain her degree as a RVT. She has learned so much through working with her team, having a group of individuals with the same passion. Neak feels that the people of Hyde Park have motivated her to be a better person and nurse all around. Her favorite thing about Banfield is that they are great with helping keep pets living longer with the preventive care we provide. Neak has been dreaming of being in the veterinarian flied since she was little. She also has 2 Yorkie-Poos that are both 2 years of age.

Jackie joined Banfield Hyde Park in December 2017. She has been in the veterinary medicine field for two years and previously worked for an animal boarding facility for three years. She has taken some educational courses in the veterinary field and plans to continue her schooling and become a RVT. Jackie would eventually like to become a marine mammal vet tech and work at a rehabilitation or conservation center for marine life. Jackie's favorite thing about veterinary medicine is animal behavior and connecting with the patients on a personal level. She enjoys seeing each patient grow and improve throughout their life. She lives with her five cats Spooky, Gio, Bootsie, Savannah, and Dexter. She enjoys rescuing stray cats and believes they find her rather than her finding them. Jackie would eventually like to get a French bulldog.
In her free time away from the hospital, Jackie likes relaxing with her cats. She also enjoys playing volleyball, going hiking, and spending time with friends and family.

Dante has been with Banfield since 2017. He had no prior experience in the veterinary field before Banfield but since being with the company, has gained a lot of new knowledge in the field plus an interest in becoming a vet assistant.
