Located in Harrisburg in the Caldwell Crossing Shopping Plaza, this new stand alone hospital provides a much needed full service pet hospital to the community. We specialize in dogs and cats, with a new cat ward to keep your felines calm during their time here. Dr. McGlone also examines your furry pocket pets including rabbits, rodents, and guinea pigs. We are proud to introduce our new doctor, Dr. Strong, who joined us this year.

    From thorough physical exams and lab work-ups, to dental cleanings, x-rays and surgery, this full service pet hospital is committed to the long-term health and happiness of your pet.     Dr. Patrick McGlone

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. McGlone grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in animal science at the University of Maryland, and then he attended VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech, where he earned his DVM license and also met his future wife. Dr. McGlone performs a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries including cherry eye repair and orthopedic surgeries including luxating patella correction and cruciate repairs. He also enjoys working with pocket pets, such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, and rats. When not in the hospital, Dr. McGlone is an avid fisherman and likes spending time outside. He and his wife have a beautiful daughter, two dogs, two bunnies, and a tank of fish! More Details >>

    Dr. Bob Strong


    Dr. Strong is a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Born in rural western Kentucky, he has been interested in veterinary medicine from a young age. Dr. Strong moved to North Carolina in 2001. He lives in Concord with his wife, Stacia, and his two children, Brayden and Payton. Don't forget the four dogs, four horses and three cats.     Dr. Elizabeth Ash


    Dr. Ash spent most of her childhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended undergraduate school at the University of South Carolina and received a B.S. degree in exercise science and a B.A. degree in dance performance. After college, she moved back to Charlotte and worked for Banfield as a veterinary assistant for a year prior to attending North Carolina State University for her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ash has a passion for preventive care, but also enjoys dermatology and dentistry and looks forward to getting to know you and your pet! When not attending to your furry friends, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Colton, and their two huskies, Koda and Loki. She also enjoys yoga, hiking and spending quality time with friends and family. More Details >>

    Practice Manager

    Stephanie is an enthusiastic, hard-working, self motivated person who grew up in Florida and moved to North Carolina 10 years ago. She has a bachelor's degree in education and has a passion for teaching others. Stephanie has had the wonderful opportunity to learn about veterinary medicine in partnership with Banfield for the last 10 years, and she enjoys coming to work every day to pass on the knowledge she has gained to help pet parents give the best care to their pets.
