    Dr. Tracie Holt


    Dr. Tracie Holt is an alumna of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at North Carolina State University. She graduated in January of 2019 with highest honors. Dr. Holt has lived in North Carolina the majority of her life, and has a bachelor's degree in biology from UNC-Chapel Hill and a master's degree in physiology from NCSU. She has been with Banfield since April of 2019, and has special interests in feline medicine and handling, as well as endocrine and renal disease. She is currently the rare veterinarian who does not have any pets, but she is in the market for a cat!     Dr. Jordan Shim graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary medicine, and has been working with Banfield in Durham, NC since July of 2019. Originally from Orlando, Florida, he lives with his best friend and cat, Aubie. Dr. Shim is especially interested in low stress handling techniques with canines and felines, surgery, and anesthesia.     Practice Manager

    Jennifer grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated from Waynesburg College with a bachelor's degree in sociology, and received her Master of Business Administration from Kaplan University. Jennifer has been with Banfield since September 2019. She has the "Baker dog crew" that includes Peppermint the Great Dane, Gracie Groot, Violet Moo Moo, and Darla De.     Veterinary Technician

    Cassie joined Banfield as an extern in January 2019. She graduated from CCCC in May 2019 with a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology, and then became a full-time Banfield employee. Cassie has three dogs including an Australian Shepherd, a beagle, and a pitbull, along with one cat.     Lloyd Moore, RVT

    Veterinary Technician

    Lloyd “Noah” Moore grew up in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington DC, and moved to Durham in 2015. He earned a degree in veterinary technology and passed the Veterinary Technician National Examination in 2009. Lloyd is a registered veterinary technician in North Carolina and Virginia, and has been working for Banfield since 2018. He has had the privilege of sharing his experience and expertise with institutions such as the Hope Center for Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, VA, the Southpaws Veterinary Referral Ctr in Fairfax County, VA, the Georgetown University Medical Center, the University of MD, and the United States Army at Ft. Detrick. Lloyd is married to Jennifer, who is working on her master's of divinity at the United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, PA (graduating May 2020).
