Dr. Adams grew up on a farm in Buchanan, Tennessee where they raised beef cattle. Their family dogs were Irish setters and it was there that he found an interest in veterinary medicine. He attended the University of Tennessee and graduated in 2005 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Adams then moved to Durham and joined the Banfield family in 2007. He has a passion for ophthamology and surgery and in his free time, he enjoys baking and refinishing furniture.

Dr. Cole was born and raised in Hamilton, NJ. She's wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 5 years old and started her career as a technician in both a general practice hospital and a busy ER in Pennsylvania. She obtained her undergraduate degree in agricultural science with minors in both animal science and equine science from Rutgers University. She then went to veterinary school at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean. She finished her clinical year at North Carolina State University in January 2015. It is in North Carolina that she met her husband Brooks, and decided to start her veterinary career here in NC. Dr. Cole joined Banfield in Durham in March of 2015, and she has special interests in internal medicine and preventive care. She has 2 pit bulls, Lilly and Trek, an island mut from St. Kitts named Cane, and a kitty named Guy.
