Dr. Amber Riley
Veterinarian
Dr. Riley was born in Shelbyville, Illinois. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL in 2008, and was then accepted to the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 2013 and pursued a career with Banfield. She chose the Southern Pines location based on its close proximity to Fort Bragg where her husband was stationed. Dr. Riley shares her home with her husband, Nestor, and their 2-year-old cat, Montana. In her spare time, she loves to read, to go the movies and travel with her husband.

Dr. Jaclyn Mendez Long
Veterinarian
Dr. Mendez Long was born in Abilene, Texas. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma (BOOMER!) in 2007 with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in English literature in cultural studies and completed graduate course work in post-colonial literature. In 2009, she started her science course work and was later accepted into the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 2015 and decided to move across the country for her next great adventure. She is currently pursing her CVA (certified veterinary acupuncturist) and hopes to expand her holistic practice. Dr. Mendez Long shares her home with her partner, Joshua, and their 3 dogs and 1 cat. In her free time, she enjoys days at Freeman Park, cooking for a crowd, cool cars, and playing outside.

Lindsay Kelsch
Practice Manager
Lindsay graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2013. She has lived in North Carolina since 1994 when her family was stationed at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station. She joined Banfield in Wilmington, NC in 2009 as a veterinary assistant and in 2015, she moved to Ohio and started her career as practice manager. In July of 2016, she transferred down to Southern Pines to be closer to her family. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys lifting, spending time with her family and anything outdoors.
