Dr. Amy Snedaker
Veterinarian
Dr. Snedaker grew up in Nashua, NH and chose her career at the age of six. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal and nutritional sciences and received the 2000 University of NH Women's Award for achievement in academics and undergraduate research, while also undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She attended the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine from 2000-2005 while also working at the Center for Animal Transgenics and Germ Cell Research, during which time she co-authored publications in Nature and the Journal of Andrology. She began a career with Banfield in November 2006. She enjoys a focus on preventive care, as well as dermatology, nutrition, and dentistry. Today, Dr. Snedaker and her husband are raising three daughters and caring for four feline senior citizens. Her non-veterinary interests include running, singing, and playing the fiddle.
