    This Banfield Pet Hospital is located in the Eastlake Village shopping center off of Eastlake Parkway and Otay Lakes Road, next to the US Bank. Here at Eastlake, we offer convenient hours to accommodate your busy schedule.

    Our staff is friendly and kind, always treating your pet like one of our own. We want to offer you exceptional client service in a welcoming environment. Our lobby is quiet and comfortable, and we have a children's play area to keep your kids busy while your pet is visiting.     Dr. Ellen Snider

    Chief of Staff

    Dr. Snider was born and raised in Charleston, SC and has worked with animals from the age of fifteen. She worked as a kennel assistant, then a veterinary assistant and knew her dream was to become a caring veterinarian. Dr. Snider received her undergraduate degree from Clemson University and then went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University.     Dr. Ronai


    Dr. Ronai received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Stony Brook University in New York in 2005. He then moved to California and worked in a lab studying angiogenesis in cancer models before deciding to pursue a career in the veterinary science. Dr. Ronai graduated from Massey University in New Zealand at the end of 2014 and returned to the United States to work as a full-time associate veterinarian at the Banfield in south Chula Vista. Dr. Ronai's area of interests include veterinary oncology and radiology. Away from work, he enjoys kayaking, traveling, photography, basketball, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. More Details >>

    Dr. Galvez graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. She then decided to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to completing her DVM, Dr. Galvez worked as a veterinary assistant at a general practice for 4 years and as a veterinary technician at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital throughout her veterinary school career.     Diana Zacharzuk

    Practice Manager

    Diana has worked at Banfield for 12 years. She started as a part-time client service coordinator while going to college full-time. After graduating from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology, she became a practice manager at the south Chula Vista Banfield. After 6 years at that location, she was given the opportunity to manage our Eastlake location. Diana has had pets all her life and early on in her time at Banfield, she learned the importance of preventive care with her own pets.
