• Do I need a health certificate for my dog and cat to fly with them?

Each airline has its own requirements for pet travel. Most have specific carrier and documentation requirements. Contact the airline you will be using and find out exactly what their requirements are. Make an appointment with your veterinarian several days prior to leaving to get any required documents completed.

Travel in the cargo hold of an airline, when weather is very hot or very cold, is not recommended for most pets. Some families find they need to board their pet in a kennel or with a friend until it is safe for them to travel by air.
