• The carpal pad on my dog's front paw is usually black, but I noticed it has started turning white. What could be the cause and what do I need to do?

    Hi Kathy,
I recommend that you take your pet into see a veterinarian. Paw pads don’t usually change color so this is concerning. There can be a few different causes for this that your vet can discuss with you after they have examined your pet. The treatment needed will depend on the underlying cause and severity of the symptoms.
