There can be many different underlying causes for this including infection, an eye injury, chronic dry eyes, or something more serious like glaucoma. Your vet can talk to you more about the cause of her symptoms after they have examined her. They may recommend some specialized eye tests to help diagnose or rule out certain diseases. The treatment she needs will depend on the underlying cause and severity of the symptoms.
