Behaviors change for many different reasons; a move, a new family member, illness, age, etc. It is important to first rule out any medical possibilities. You should have him seen by your veterinarian to ensure he is not suffering from any kind of urinary infection or other unknown health issue. Once you have addressed the medical, you can address the behavioral. Your veterinarian may be able to refer you to a pet behaviorist that can help you figure out what is causing the change in behavior.
